THIS AFTERNOON...FIRST AREA OF PRECIPITATION EXITING THE AREA AT
THE MOMENT. NOW THE QUESTION IS HOW MUCH ACTIVITY WILL THERE BE
BEHIND IT THIS AFTERNOON. NO DISTINGUISHABLE SHORT WAVES ON WATER
VAPOR LOOP OR BY THE SHORT TERM MODELS THROUGH 00Z THIS EVENING.
HOWEVER..VERY JUICY AIRMASS IN PLACE WITH DEWPOINTS IN THE MID 60S
TO AROUND 70. VISIBLE SATELLITE LOOP INDICATES BREAKS IN CLOUDS
ACROSS THE SOUTHERN FORECAST AREA AND A CU FIELD BREWING OVER THE
SOUTHERN HALF OF LAKE MICHIGAN. SO WITH A LITTLE SURFACE HEATING WE
SHOULD BE ABLE TO GENERATE CAPES OF A FEW HUNDRED J/KG. FOR NOW WILL
KEEP FORECAST GENERAL AND GO WITH SCATTERED SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS ALL ZONES. WILL BUMP UP HIGH TEMPERATURES A CATEGORY
OR SO DUE TO THE BREAKS IN THE CLOUDS BUT PLAY SKY COVER AS MOSTLY
CLOUDY. UPDATE WILL BE OUT SHORTLY BEFORE NOON.
