The Green River rose above flood stage due to rainfall from the 9th to the 13th. The ground was already very moist from the remnants of Tropical Storm Isidore in late September and then Hurricane Lili on October 4. The river crested at 383.40 feet at the Paradise Steam Plant on October 13. Flood stage is 380 feet. The flooding was minor, mainly affecting low-lying wooded areas and fields near the river.
