ISSUED UPDATE TO ACCOUNT FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH NUMBER 151.
CONFIDENCE IN DAMAGING WIND THREAT OVER EASTERN KENTUCKY IS NOT HIGH
WITH THE BEST THREAT IN THE WATCH AREA. DEWPOINTS ARE LOW OVER MUCH
OF THE CWA DUE TO BACKED SW DOWNSLOPE FLOW IN ADVANCE OF DEVELOPING
SFC LOW OVER EVV VICINITY AND SFC HIGH ALONG THE MID ATLANTIC COAST.
THUS SFC BASED CONVECTION MAY NOT MAKE IT INTO CWA...BUT ELEVATED
CONVECTION APPEARS TO BE DEVELOPING OVER THE WESTERN PORTION OF THE
CWA ATTM. STRONG MID LEVEL INFLOW INTO CONVECTION TO THE W MAY
PROLONG ITS LIFE AT LEAST INTO CENTRAL KY.
