THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE OVER THE SOUTH PART OF THE FORECAST AREA
TODAY.

A WEAK SURFACE BOUNDARY AND AN APPROACHING UPPER SHORT WAVE TROUGH
WILL PRODUCE THUNDERSTORMS OVER SOUTH CENTRAL INDIANA MAINLY THIS
MORNING.

THE UPPER SHORT WAVE TROUGH WAS OVER THE MID MISSISSIPPI VALLEY
EARLY THIS MORNING. AN AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS WAS OVER SOUTH
ILLINOIS. SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDED THROUGH SOUTH INDIANA.

THE UPPER SHORT WAVE IS FORECAST TO MOVE THROUGH SOUTH INDIANA THIS
MORNING...WEAKENING DUE TO A STRONGER SHORT WAVE APPROACHING THE
UPPER GREAT LAKES. MODELS NOT BRINGING PRECIPITATION FAR ENOUGH
NORTH...BUT AXIS OF HEAVIER RAINFALL WILL STAY NEAR THE OHIO RIVER.
SOME EARLY MORNING FOG IS LIKELY...ALTHOUGH CLOUD COVER SHOULD KEEP
FOG FROM BECOMING DENSE.

MODELS HAVE SOME UPPER LEVEL RIDGING DEVELOPING TONIGHT. SOUTHWEST
LOW LEVEL FLOW WILL PUSH WARMER AIR INTO THE AREA TOMORROW.

GUIDANCE TEMPERATURES ARE GOOD. CLOUDS AND PRECIPITATION WILL LIMIT
TEMPERATURE RISES TODAY. RATHER HIGH DEW POINTS REMAIN OVER THE AREA
TONIGHT...SO NOT MUCH COOLING. TOMORROW COULD BE THE WARMEST DAY SO
FAR THIS YEAR.
