WILL BE UPDATING THE FCST SHORTLY. ROUND 3 OF STORMS ALREADY NOSING
INTO WRN ILLINOIS. WL UPDATE FOR PRECIPITATION TRENDS AND TO ISSUE A
FLOOD WATCH FOR AREAS ROUGHLY ALONG AND SOUTH OF A CANTON TO LINCOLN
TO CHAMPAIGN LINE THROUGH WEDNESDAY. LATEST MODELS ARE STILL HAVING
A TOUGH TIME DETERMINING THE EXACT LOCATIONS AND EXTENT OF RAINFALL
OVR THE NEXT DAY OR TWO...BUT ALL ARE POINTING AT HEAVY RAINFALL
OCCURRING. WITH MUCH OF THE AREA OF CONCERN ALREADY RECEIVING 1 TO 3
INCHES OF RAIN...IT WILL NOT TAKE MUCH TO GET WIDESPREAD FLOODING
GOING AGAIN.

Due to heavy rains in the area, Wolf Run Creek rapidly rose causing flooding in Bluffs. One home had a basement wall cave in and numerous others had water in their basements. One unoccupied car was flooded and destroyed. A set of railroad tracks in town had the soil washed out from underneath them and they had to be repaired. Also, Illinois Route 100 had large amounts of mud and debris washed over it near Oxville and in Bluffs. No injuries were reported.
