SUMMARY...PLEASANT TRADE WIND WEATHER IS EXPECTED THROUGH WEDNESDAY.
HUMID CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED THURSDAY AND FRIDAY...AS A DISSIPATED
FAUSTO PASSES BY TO THE NORTH.

DISCUSSION...NO CHANGE TO PREVIOUS THINKING...MODELS MOVE THE
REMNANTS OF FAUSTO BY TO THE NORTH OF THE ISLANDS THURSDAY AND
FRIDAY. THE DISTURBANCE WILL SEPARATE THE ISLANDS FROM THE TRADE
GENERATING SURFACE HIGH FAR TO THE NORTHEAST OF HERE...THUS CUTTING
OFF OUR TRADES. BY SATURDAY...THE DISTURBANCE WILL BE NORTHWEST OF
HAWAII AND THE TRADES WILL BE BACK. TRADE WINDS SHOULD DOMINATE
ISLAND WEATHER ALL OF NEXT WEEK. TROPICAL DEPRESSION ALIKA IS
CONTINUING TO MOVE TOWARD THE WEST. IT IS NOW PAST 160W AND WELL
SOUTH OF THE STATE. TROPICAL DEPRESSION TWO-C IS DEFINATELY SHOWING
SIGNS OF STRENGTHENING...BUT THIS SYSTEM TOO IS FAR SOUTHWEST OF THE
STATE AND POSES NO THREAT TO HAWAII AT THIS TIME. FARRELL
