REPORTS INDICATE THAT EARLIER HEAVY SNOW HAS CHANGED OVER TO MAINLY SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN IN THE GA AND SC MTNS AND A MIX OF EVERYTHING BASED ON ELEVATION IN THE SRN NC MTNS. THIS MATCHES FAIRLY WELL W/THE 06Z ETA SOUNDINGS AND OVERALL THERMAL FIELDS. IT IS STILL LIKELY A LITTLE WARM CONSIDERING DYNAMIC COOLING...BUT I THINK IT IS GETTING A BETTER HANDLE ON THE SITUATION.
