A VIGOROUS SHORT WAVE WILL MOVE ACROSS THE MID MISSISSIPPI VALLEY TODAY AND TONIGHT FOLLOWED BY A LONG WAVE TROF MOVING ACROSS THE PLAINS THAT WILL MOVE ACROSS THE MISSISSIPPI VALLEY WEDNESDAY. THUNDERSTORMS ASSOCIATED WITH THE SHORT WAVE ARE MOVING INTO NORTHEAST ARKANSAS PORTIONS OF THE MID SOUTH AT THIS TIME. THESE WILL AFFECT MAINLY THE NORTH HALF OF THE MID SOUTH TODAY. THUNDERSTORMS ASSOCIATED WITH THE LONG WAVE ARE LIKELY WEDNESDAY. AT THE SURFACE A COLD FRONT WILL APPROACH THE MID SOUTH TODAY...MOVE SLOWLY INTO THE REGION TONIGHT AND WEDNESDAY...THEN WASH OUT BY WEDNESDAY NIGHT.
