ANALYSIS...LETS GO WITH THE AVIATION MODEL AGAIN. IT BEEN DOING
A BETTER JOB THAN THE ETA IN HANDLING THE STORMS COMING OUT OF
THE CENTRAL PACIFIC.

FORECASTS...THE 960 MB LOW 200 MILES SOUTHEAST OF SAND POINT WILL
MOVE TO NEAR COLD BAY AND DEEPEN TO 952 MB TONIGHT. THE LOW WILL
BECOME NEARLY STATIONARY 100 MILES NORTH OF DUTCH HARBOR MONDAY
AFTERNOON AND WEAKEN TO 960 MB TUESDAY AFTERNOON. THE FRONT WILL
WILL MOVE INTO THE ALASKA PENINSULA AND KODIAK ISLAND THIS
AFTERNOON, MOVE INTO THE Y-K DELTA...SOUTHERN KUSKOKWIM VALLEY
AND KENAI PENINSULA TONIGHT AND WILL BEGIN TO WEAKEN OVER NORTON
SOUND...NORTHERN KUSKOKWIM VALLEY...SUSITNA VALLEY AND PRINCE
WILLIAM SOUND MONDAY. THE FRONT WILL DISSIPATE OVER THE SEWARD
PENINSULA AND TANANA VALLEY MONDAY NIGHT.

A SECOND WEAKER LOW 500 MILES SOUTH OF DUTCH HARBOR WILL ROTATE
AROUND THE STRONGER SYSTEM AND WILL MOVE TO 60 MILES SOUTHWEST OF
SITKINAK ISLAND AND DEEPEN TO 963 MB MONDAY NIGHT. THE FRONT WILL
MOVE INTO KODIAK ISLAND...THE KENAI PENINSULA AND CENTRAL GULF
COAST MONDAY NIGHT.

An intense low moved into the Alaska Peninsula with a strong pressure gradient from Kodiak to Bristol Bay. Pre-Frontal winds briefly exceeded 60 mph on the southern half of Kodiak Island late Sunday afternoon and in the Western Bristol Bay area early Sunday morning.
