MORNING. THIS CENTER BECOMES THE ANCHOR AND THE LOW MOVING INTO
BRISTOL BAY THIS AFTERNOON ROTATES AROUND CENTER TO OVER NORTON
SOUND TONIGHT. 969MB LOW CONTINUES TO BE THE DOMINATE CENTER OF
THE LOW COMPLEX SOUTH OF THE ALEUTIANS. COLD AIR ADVECTION,
EVIDENCED BY OPEN/CLOSED CELL CU OVER NORTH PACIFIC, WILL
CONTINUE TO SPAWN OFF SECONDARY CENTERS WHICH WILL ROTATE NORTH
AND WEST AROUND MAIN.
STRONG EAST TO SOUTHEAST WINDS FROM THE NORTH GULF COAST TO
SOUTHCENTRAL SHOULD TAPER BY EVENING AS CENTER NEAR KODIAK MOVES
INTO BRISTOL BAY AND WEAKENS. STRONG SOUTHEAST FLOW IS PRODUCING
HEAVY RAINS ALONG KACHEMAK BAY AND SOUTH/EAST EXPOSURES OF THE
KENAI PEN. RAINS SHOULD TAPER OFF ALONG WITH WINDS LATER THIS
AFTERNOON/EVENING. NEXT SYSTEM TO MOVE INTO THE NORTH GULF WILL

Heavy rains, from 2.5 to 3.5 inches in a 24 hour period brought creeks and streams up to minor flood stages. Glacier Creek rose to near bankfull around noon November 23, however no flooding was reported. Minor flooding occurred along Salmon Creek, but no reports of damage were received.
