High winds occurred for a short period of time at Cape Lisburne on the Western Arctic Coast. These winds developed as a cold front moved northward across the Bering Strait to the Chukchi Sea.

High winds occurred for a short period of time at Cape Lisburne on the Western Arctic Coast. These winds developed as a cold front moved northward across the Bering Strait to the Chukchi Sea. Wind gusts to 50 knots (58 mph) were recorded by the AWOS site at Cape Lisburne.
