EXPECT ANOTHER DAY OF WITH SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS LIKELY IN THE AFTERNOON. THE BIG WEATHER MAKERS WILL AGAIN BE AN UPPER LEVEL LOW OVER NORTHERN ALABAMA AND GEORGIA...THE DAILY SEA BREEZE...AND POSSIBLY SOME LEFTOVER BOUNDARIES FROM YESTERDAYS CONVECTION. EXPECT A FAIRLY UNSTABLE AIR MASS THIS AFTERNOON WITH MINUS 10 DEGREE TEMPS IN THE MID LEVELS OF THE ATMOSPHERE COURTESY OF THE UPPER LOW. PERSISTENT ONSHORE FLOW AROUND THE EDGE OF THE BERMUDA HIGH HAVE RAMPED UP PRECIPTIABLE WATER VALUES A LITTLE MORE. THE 00Z SOUNDINGS HAVE PWS IN THE 2 TO 2.25 INCH RANGE ACROSS THE AREA...INDICATING HEAVY RAIN IS POSSIBLE IS SOME SPOTS AGAIN TODAY. THE CLOSED LOW WILL OPEN TO LEAVE A TROUGH LINGERING OVER THE AREA AS A SURFACE FRONT MOVES SOUTH INTO THE GULF STATES.
