RADAR IS SHOWING A FEW SHOWERS POPPING UP OVER LOUISIANA AND
MISSISSIPPI THIS AFTERNOON...JUST NOW ENTERING SOUTHWEST ALABAMA AND
MOVING ONSHORE ALONG THE ALABAMA AND FLORIDA COASTLINES. COVERAGE IS
MUCH REDUCED FROM THE WEEKEND...COURTESY OF BUILDING HIGH PRESSURE
OVER THE EASTERN GULF OF MEXICO.

FOR THIS EVENING AND OVERNIGHT...DESPITE THE PRESENCE OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS TO THE WEST AND STEADY SOUTHWEST FLOW OVER THE
AREA...EXPECT LEFTOVER SCATTERED EVENING SHOWERS OVER SOUTHEAST
MISSISSIPPI WITH ONLY A SLIGHT CHANCE ELSEWHERE.

TUESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...HIGH PRESSURE WILL MOVE STRAIGHT OVER THE
CENTRAL GULF COAST. THE SUBSIDENT AIR WILL CAUSE A DROP OFF IN AREA
PRECIPITABLE WATER VALUES. ETA AND AVIATION ARE SHOWING AROUND 1.5
INCH BY WEDNESDAY VS THE NEAR TWO INCHES NOW. ALSO THE ONLY KICKER
FOR SHOWERS WILL BE DAILY SEA BREEZE INFLUENCES. THIS WILL KEEP RAIN
CHANCES LIMITED...EXCEPT FOR MAYBE A 30% OVER THE INLAND AREAS. THE
OTHER IMPACT THE HIGH PRESSURE AND OF LIGHT OFFSHORE FLOW WILL BE
TEMPS REACHING THE MID NINETIES WITH HEAT INDEX VALUES NEARING THE
105 POINT.

FOR FRIDAY THORUGH MONDAY...AVIATION SHOWS A SHORT WAVE MOVING
THROUGH THE TENNESSEE VALLEY AND INTO THE GULF STATES THROUGH
FRIDAY. THE SUBSEQUENT BOUNDARY WILL MOVE TOWARD THE COAST AND BE A
FOCUS FOR SCATTERED CONVECTION JUST IN TIME FOR THE WEEKEND. THE MRF
SHOWS HIGH PRESSURE STARTING TO BUILD AGAIN BY MONDAY.

MARINE...LIGHT WEST TO NORTHWEST FLOW FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS WITH
DECREASING SHOWERS AFTER THIS EVENING.

FIRE...IT WILL GET A LITTLE HOTTER AND DRIER THROUGH FRIDAY...BUT
NOT ENOUGH TO BREACH CRITICAL THRESHOLDS. RELATIVE HUMIDITIES WILL
DIP AS LOW AS 45% INLAND DURING THE AFTERNOON WITH LIGHT NW WINDS.
