A TORNADO WATCH IS NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 2000 CST. ALSO CORRECTED
LAFAYETTE TEMPERATURES.

.TONIGHT...
STATIONARY COLD FRONT...WHICH EXTENDS ACROSS SOUTHEAST TEXAS AND
THROUGH WEST CENTRAL LOUISIANA...IS FORECAST TO MIGRATE EAST INTO
SOUTH CENTRAL LOUISIANA BY EARLY MORNING. PRE-FRONTAL SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED. WILL RETAIN SEVERE WORDING ACROSS SOUTH
CENTRAL AND EAST CENTRAL LOUISIANA.

POST FRONTAL RAINS WILL PERSIST...AS DEEP SOUTHERLIES OVER-GLIDE THE
COOLER SURFACE AIR. WILL RETAIN FLASH FLOOD WATCH ACROSS ALL OF
SOUTHWEST LOUISIANA AND ACROSS SOUTHEAST TEXAS.

WINDS WILL PICK UP ACROSS THE COASTAL WATERS. THE MARINE FORECASTER
WILL ISSUE A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY.

.THURSDAY...
A POLAR TROUGH WILL MOVE THROUGH SOUTHWEST LOUISIANA...USHERING IN
DRIER AIR. RAINS EXPECTED TO END FROM THE WEST...HOWEVER CLOUDS AND
ROBUST COLD AIR ADVECTION WILL CAUSE SUBNORMAL MAXIMUMS.
