SYN..H5 LOW CURRENTLY CENTERED OVER THE APPALACHIANS WILL CONT TO
MOVE SLOWLY W THRU THIS FCST PERIOD AND INTO THE EXTENDED.  H5 RIDGE
OVER THE SWRN U.S. WILL BUILD OVER THE 4-CORNERS REGION AND PLACE
THE CWFA UNDER A N/NW FLOW.  ONCE THE UPPER LVL LOW RETROGRADES W..
IT WILL OPEN INTO A TROF THAT EXTENDS SWRD INTO TX.  THIS WILL SHIFT
THE UPPER LVL FLOW TO A MORE N/NELY.

DISC..AFTER A MORNING OF ISOLATED HVY RAINFALL..CRP RECEIVED 1.92
INCHES...A RECORD RAINFALL FOR THE DATE..PREVIOUS RECORD WAS 1.03 IN
1996..SEA BREEZE HAS SHIFTED MOST OF THE PCPN INLAND.  ISOLATED TO
WIDELY SCT CONVECTION WILL CONT THRU THE AFTERNOON AND INTO THE
EVENING UNTIL SUNSET..ESPECIALLY ALONG THE SEA BREEZE.  BOUNDARY
FROM OFFSHORE OF PTA TO NRN SAN PATRICIO COUNTY THEN INTO BEE COUNTY
MAY ACT AS A FOCUS FOR ADDITIONAL DEVELOPMENT THROUGH THE REMAINDER
OF THE AFTERNOON TOO.  WINDS BEGIN TO INCREASE IN RESPONSE TO
INCREASING PGF.  STRONGEST WINDS LIKELY ON WED.  THIS MAY INHIBIT
FORMATION OF CONVECTION..BUT STILL ENOUGH TO MENTION POPS.  WITH
NUMEROUS BOUNDARIES AND ANOTHER BOUNDARY HEADED N OVER THE WRN
GULF..FROM CONVECTION WILL GO WITH WIDELY SCT TO SCT POPS FOR TUE.
TEMPS WILL BEGIN A SLOW RISE DURING THE OVERNIGHT PERIODS BECAUSE OF
MORE WIND.  AFTERNOON HIGHS WILL BE HELD IN CHECK BY CONVECTION AND
LEFT OVER CONVECTIVE DEBRIS.

EXTENDED..MODELS CONT THE TREND OF H5 LOW RETROGRADING INTO NEXT
WEEKEND.  SPOKES OF ENERGY ROTATING AROUND THE UPPER LVL LOW WILL
ALLOW FOR CONVECTION TO FORM AND MOVE S.  WILL SEE SEASONAL TEMPS
WITH CHCS FOR ABOVE NORMAL RAINFALL.

MARINE...PRESS TO THE WEST PROGD TO GRADUALLY DEEPEN NEXT COUPLE OF
DAYS. OVER THE BAYS...BORDERLINE SCA CONDITIONS EXPECTED TUE THRU
THU...WITH SLIGHTLY STRONGER WINDS WED. MODELS KEEP WINDS OVER THE
COASTAL WATERS IN THE SCEC RANGE. NOCTURNAL LLJ...WEAK COASTAL TROF
DEVELOPMENT AT NIGHT AND MOIST CONVERGENCE ALONG THE COAST...WILL
PRODUCE ISOL/WIDELY SCT CONVECTION DURING LATE NIGHT AND EARLY
MORNING HOURS THROUGH THU. AS UPPER LOW BECOMES MORE OF A FACTOR BY
FRI...PRECIP CHANCES INCREASE.
