PERSISTENT SHEAR AXIS CONTINUES ACROSS WEST CENTRAL TEXAS EARLY THIS
MORNING...WITH SCATTERED SHOWERS REDEVELOPING ACROSS THE NORTHERN
EDWARDS PLATEAU AND SOUTHERN CONCHO VALLEY. WATER VAPOR IMAGERY SHOWING
THAT DRIER AIR ACROSS MUCH OF WEST TEXAS HAS MOVED INTO THE BIG COUNTRY

WEEK. MODELS ALSO DRAG EVEN BETTER MOISTURE INTO AT LEAST THE SOUTHEAST
HALF OF THE AREA BY WEDNESDAY...AS WAVE SPAWNING DEEP CONVECTION SOUTH
OF BROWNSVILLE MOVES INTO CENTRAL TEXAS. STILL...AVIATION HAS BEEN TOO
WET THE LAST SEVERAL DAYS WILL LEAN MORE TOWARDS AN ETA AND NGM SOLUTION
AND SHOW SLIGHTLY REDUCED POPS. BEST RAIN CHANCES SOUTHEAST ACROSS THE
NORTHWEST HILL COUNTRY...WITH SMALLER POPS ACROSS THE BIG COUNTRY.

EVEN THE WET AVIATION FINALLY DRAWS DRIER AIR ACROSS WEST CENTRAL TEXAS
BY THURSDAY...AS A 500 MB TROUGH EASES EAST INTO CENTRAL TEXAS. NEXT
TROUGH MOVES INTO THE AREA FOR THE WEEKEND...PUSHING THE NEXT FRONT INTO
THE AREA. WILL GO AHEAD AND INTRODUCE POPS FOR SATURDAY.
