VIS IMAGERY SHOWS PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES OVER SERN TX EARLY THIS
AFTERNOON. THE MAIN FORECAST ISSUES ARE TEMPS/SEAS/TIDES THROUGH
SUNDAY...THEN THREAT FROM TS BARRY MON-TUE AND CONTINUING POPS
WED-THU. THE 12Z NCEP MODELS ARE IN FAIR TO GOOD AGREEMENT THROUGH
48 HRS...NO PARTICULAR PREFERENCE OTHER THAN THE AVN FOR LENGTH OF
RUN AND CONSISTENCY WITH PRIOR RUNS. THE MEDIUM RANGE MODELS HAD A
SIGNIFICANT SPREAD...BUT MRF LOOKS REASONABLE GIVEN THE STATE OF
THINGS AT LAST NIGHTS RUN. EXPECT SOME DEFINITE CHANGES IN THE
MODELS WHEN BARRY IS PICKED UP/INSERTED INTO THE ANALYSIS THIS
EVENING.

WILL MAINTAIN HOT AND DRY WEATHER THROUGH SATURDAY. MAY KEEP
ISOLATED POPS ALONG THE COAST...BUT MODERATE TO STRONG ENE FLOW AND
POTENTIAL FOR TS INDUCED SUBSIDENCE SHOULD HAMPER NORMAL SEABREEZE
CONVERGENCE. THE SUN-TUE SITUATION DEPENDS ON BARRY. GENERAL
INDICATIONS ARE FOR A WNW MOVEMENT TO A LOCATION AROUND 125 MI SSW
OF NEW BY MIDDAY SUNDAY. WILL GO WITH CHANCE POPS MON-THU AND LEAVE
IT AT THAT FOR NOW.
