ACTIVITY NORTH OF AREA NEAR 21 DEGREES NORTH. THUNDERSTORMS FIRING
UP ALONG ALONG AN OLD BOUNDARY AND SURFACE TROUGH. AN UPPER LEVEL
TROUGH HAS DUG FROM THE BAHAMAS TO SOUTH OF HISPANIOLA AND IS
PROVIDING UPPER LEVEL FORCING. THE UPPER TROUGH WEST OF LOCAL AREA
HAS ENDED ANY SUBSIDENCE FOR TODAY. MORNING SJU SOUNDING SHOWS
DISAPPEARANCE OF THE INVERSION CAP. THUS THINK THERE WILL MORE
THUNDERSTORMS ACTIVITY DURING THE AFTERNOON IN THE WESTERN INTERIOR
THAN YESTERDAY. QUICKSCAT WINDS SHOW LIGHTER WINDS AND SLIGHTLY MORE
SE IN THE LOCAL ATLANTIC DUE TO VICINITY OF SURFACE TROUGH ALONG 22
NORTH. CURRENT FORECAST LOOKS GOOD. NO SIGNIFICANT CHANGES
