MODELS PROG FRONT SLIPPING SOUTH OVERNIGHT...BUT POKE IT BACK NORTH EARLY THURSDAY. LOOKING AT THE LI GRADIENT...IT WOULD APPEAR THAT THE SURFACE PLACEMENT OF THE FRONT MAY BE PROGGED A BIT TOO FAR SOUTH...WITH THE MODELS A BIT OPTIMISTIC IN THE SOUTHWARD PUSH OF THE FEATURE. Numerous roads were reported flooded in the town of Walnut, where 4 to 5 inches of rain was observed. 8 to 10 homes had flooded basements. 1 to 2 feet of water was reported on State Route 3019, and Route 35 was closed due to flooding.
