A strong cold front moved across northwestern Pennsylvania late in the evening of the 9th. Damaging west winds occurred behind the front for several hours. A 61 mph gust was measured at Erie around midnight with a 59 mph gust at Meadville in Crawford County. The roofs of several buildings near the Lake Erie shoreline were partially torn off. Many dozen trees were also knocked down in Erie and Crawford Counties.

REPORTED WITH LINE.  WILL KEEP HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT TILL 4AM
BECAUSE OF THE STRONG CAA BEHIND THE FRONT.  BUT WILL UPDATE ZONES
TO REMOVE THUNDER ENTIRE CWA.  ALSO CHANGED RAIN SHOWERS TO
SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS OVERNIGHT.
