WHILE THESE SUPPORTING DYNAMICS WILL BE PULLING THROUGH BY AROUND 00Z THE FRONT IS VERY SLOW MOVING AND WILL STALL OUT ACROSS THE SERN ZONES TONIGHT. 500MB SHORT WAVE WILL ALSO BE CROSSING THE REGION AROUND 06Z SO SHOWERS WILL APPEAR TO BE A THREAT FOR CENTRAL ZONES THROUGH MIDNIGHT AND INTO THE NIGHT FOR THE SERN ZONES. UPSTREAM RADARS SHOW CONVECTION POPPING ON THE CANADIAN SIDE OF LK ONT AND WITH DRIER AIR VERY SLOW TO WORK IN BELIEVE THERE WILL BE ENOUGH INSTABILITY AHEAD OF APPROACHING SHORT WAVE TO KEEP AT LEAST CHC POPS FOR THE NWRN ZONES. WIDESPREAD FOG A GOOD BET TONIGHT WITH HIGH DEW POINTS IN A DIRTY AIRMASS...ESPECIALLY FOR AREAS THAT SEE PCPN. THUS FAR PCPN HAS BEEN PROGRESSIVE ENOUGH TO AVOID EXCESSIVE PCPN AMOUNTS IN ANY ONE LOCATION. WILL MAKE A LAST MINUTE DECISION ABOUT ISSUING AN FFA BEFORE ZONES FLY. AXIS OF DECENT INSTABILITY LINGERS OVER THE AREA TOMORROW WITH THE FRONTAL BOUNDARY REMAINING OVER THE SERN ZONES. Newspaper reports indicate that thunderstorm winds brought down numerous trees and powerlines, causing extensive damage and closing Route 590. Some residences had windows blown out and hail was also reported. 580 people were without power after the storm in the sparsely populated area.
