RIDGE...WILL PREVENT ANY THUNDERSTORM FORMATION THROUGH THE DAYLIGHT
HOURS SATURDAY. CONCERN IS HIGH HEIGHTS/THICKNESSES/TEMPS ALOFT
LEADING TO SURFACE TEMPERATURES 95 TO 100. THIS...COUPLED WITH DEWS
70 TO 75...IS RESULTING IN HEAT INDICES OF 100 TO 110. HAVE DECIDED
THAT AWARENESS IS NOT HEIGHTENED ENOUGH TO THE CUSTOMER BY
CONTINUING A SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT. BECAUSE THIS IS A RARE EVENT
FOR THE CWA HAVE ALREADY UPDATED ZONES FOR A HEAT ADVISORY...AND
WILL CONTINUE THAT ADVISORY THIS NEXT FORECAST ISSUANCE...THROUGH
