A storm system moved down the St Lawrence Valley region in southern Canada. A few thunderstorms accompanied this system with wind gusts to 40 mph during the afternoon in St Lawrence county. In the New York towns of Gouverneur and Edwards, winds gusts to 40 mph (35 knots) were reported.
