Severe thunderstorms crossed Allegany county during the afternoon hours. The high winds downed trees and power lines in Belfast. Several houses were damaged and two cars were flattened. A girl was struck by a falling tree limb. The injury was minor, requiring stitches.

AIRMASS IS ONLY MARGINALLY UNSTABLE. IF CONVECTION DOES OCCUR...MAY INCLUDE LOW CHC POPO EARLY IN FIRST FORECAST PERIOD.
