WITH THIS FEATURE AND LIFT FROM SURFACE COLD FRONT TO CONTINUE
SLIGHT CHANCE POPS MAINLY ACROSS THE N THIS EVENING.  AT 21Z
FRONT JUST NW OF A KRTN TO KSKX TO KGUP LINE.  WINDS THE MAIN
WEATHER FEATURE INTO THE EVENING HOURS.  GOOD MIXING GOING ON
AHEAD OF THE FRONTAL BOUNDARY PRODUCING WINDY CONDITIONS AND
WILL GO AHEAD AND CONTINUE WND ADVISORY FOR THE SANDIA/MANZANO
AND SOUTH CENTRAL MOUNTAINS EASTWARD TO THE TX BORDER AND WILL
ADD THE NE AS WELL TILL AROUND SUNSET.  NPW WITH THE DETAILS
OUT BY 4 PM.

WINDS WILL CONTINUE TO BE BREEZY OVER THE EASTCNTRL AND SE THRU
THE NIGHT ESPECIALLY IN THE VICINTY OF THE FRONT WHERE SURFACE
GRADIENT THE STRONGEST.  BY 12Z THU MODELS QUICKLY PUSH COLD FRONT
INTO WEST TEXAS.  NOTICEABLY COOLER AIRMASS THU IN THE WAKE OF
DEPARTING COLD FRONT AND HAVE DROPPED TEMPS A COUPLE OF CATEGORIES
OVER TODAYS MAX TEMPS MOST AREAS.  NORTHWESTERLY FLOW ALOFT TO A
FLAT RIDGE INTO THE WEEKEND WITH A WARMING TREND. NO SIGNIFICANT

Three power poles broke during gusty, early evening winds along State Road 53 south of Grants. Residents of San Rafael, Zuni Canyon and parts of Grants were without power until the next morning. Peak gusts of 38 to 43 mph were reported at Grants and Gallup during this period.
