Strong, gusty west to northwest winds following a cold frontal passage buffeted Ocean County during the day on the 14th. The winds also developed waves on Barnegat Bay. The wave action caused some minor flooding along some bayside streets in Seaside Park. The peak wind gust at the Lakehurst NAS was 48 mph.
