The second severe thunderstorm of the evening knocked down trees, tree limbs and power lines, mainly in the eastern part of the county and affected Morris Township and Morristown again. About 3,700 customers lost power in Boonton, Florham Park, Morristown and Whippany. In Morris Township, the severe thunderstorm knocked down trees onto vehicles and boats in the Cromwell Hills development.
