A severe thunderstorm dropped golf ball size hail and caused damaging winds in and around Toms River. Windows were blown out of one home in Toms River. There were twenty-six separate calls of downed trees in Toms River. In Beachwood, a trampoline was tossed into a neighbor's tree and a flagpole was snapped in half. Several trees were also knocked down. Pool furniture was tossed into the air in Pine Beach. It took until the 29th for power to be totally restored to the area.
