.SHORT TERM...MSX RADAR SHOWS SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
FORMING ACROSS LEMHI COUNTY THIS AFTERNOON. SATELLITE VISIBLE
IMAGERY AND SURFACE INDICATED SOME CU BUILDING UP ALONG THE
WESTERN BORDER OF THE CWA AND TO THE NORTH. HIGH PRESSURE REMAINS
OVER CENTRAL U.S. THROUGH THE FORECAST PERIOD WITH A SOUTHWEST FLOW
OVER THE CWA. WEAK SHORT WAVES CONTINUE TO MOVE IN THE FLOW AND
ACROSS THE CWA EACH DAY. STILL NOT TOO IMPRESSED BY ANY ON THE
WAVES MOVING ACROSS THE AREA...SO WILL KEEP THE POPS IN THE LOW
CHANCE CATEGORY. BY FRIDAY THE TROUGH OFF THE NORTHWEST PACIFIC COAST
MOVES CLOSER AND DEEPENS. TEMPERATURES COOL A FEW DEGREES THURSDAY
FROM TODAY AND THEN A FEW MORE DEGREES ON FRIDAY. KOLATA

.EXTENDED...MODELS IN GOOD AGREEMENT THROUGH EARLY SUNDAY WITH THE
AREA IN SOUTHWEST FLOW WITH A CUT OFF LOW DIGGING DOWN THE WEST COAST
INTO WASHINGTON. LATER SUNDAY INTO WEDNESDAY MRF/AVN MOVE DEEPENING
UPPER LOW INTO WESTERN OREGON WITH MRF MOVING IT OFF THE COAST BY
WEDNESDAY. ECMWF ON THE OTHER HAND WEAKENS THIS LOW MONDAY AND EJECTS
IT NORTHEAST INTO CENTRAL CANADA. SINCE AVN PREFERRED SHORT/MID TERM
MODEL AND IN MORE AGREEMENT WITH MRF WILL USE THEIR SOLUTION.  ALSO
MRF HAS BEEN MORE CONSISTENT THAN THE ECMWF. TEMPERATURES WILL BE
COOLER THROUGHOUT THE PERIOD...BUT NOT AS COOL AS PREVIOUS MODELS
INDICATE OR GUIDANCE. A CHANCE OF SHOWERS/THUNDERSTORMS EXPECTED EACH
DAY...EXCEPT SATURDAY WHERE THE NORTH MAY ESCAPE ANY ACTIVITY. BELTZ
