THE FORECAST CHALLENGE OVER THE NEXT TWO DAYS ARE TSRA CHANCES.
MODELS BRING A STRENGTHENING UPPER LEVEL SHORTWAVE TROUGH ACROSS THE
FORECAST AREA OVERNIGHT AND EARLY SUNDAY.  CWA IS MAINLY IN THE
RIGHT REAR EXIT REGION OF THE UPPER LEVEL JET MAXIMA THAT LIES FROM
THE SOUTHWEST U.S. INTO THE DAKOTAS.  LAPS DATA INDICATED CAPES
VALUES OF 2000 J/KG WITH LIFTED INDICES OF -4 DEG IN THE VICINITY
AND JUST NORTH OF WARM FRONT.  EXPECT TSRA CONTINUE TO DEVELOP IN
THE MOIST AND UNSTABLE AIRMASS AS TEMPERATURES HAVE ALREADY REACHED
THE CONVECTIVE TEMPS IN THE LOWER TO MIDDLE 80S.  THE MAIN THREAT
INTO THE EVENING WILL BE FOR TSRA TO PULSE UP TO PRODUCE SOME
DAMAGING WINDS.  FREEZING LEVEL ABOVE 12500 FEET...
SO HAIL THREAT MARGINAL.  WITH THE APPROACHING SHORTWAVE
TROUGH...AND CLASH WITH OUTFLOW BOUNDARIES AND WARM FRONT...TSRA
COULD INTENSIFY DURING THE OVERNIGHT...WITH THE MAIN THREATS
DAMAGING WINDS AND HAIL.  NOT MUCH CHANGE IN AIRMASS ON SUNDAY...SO
TEMPERATURES SHOULD CLIMB BACK INTO THE UPPER 70S TO MIDDLE 80S.
TEMPERATURES WARMING INTO THE 80S ON MONDAY AHEAD OF THE NEXT SFC
TROUGH.  WL REINTRODUCE SOME POPS BACK IN FOR MONDAY.

MEDIUM RANGE AND LONG RANGE MODELS CONTINUE THE BROAD UPPER LEVEL
TROUGH OVER NORTH AMERICA THROUGH END OF NEW WEEK.  WL CONTINUE THE
CHANCES OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WITH TEMPS COOLING DOWN A TAB
ON WEDNESDAY.
