FORECAST CONCERN NEAR TERM...RAIN/THUNDER CHANCES AND TEMPERATURES.

APPEARS FRONT MAKING SLOW EASTWARD PROGRESSION.  REAL DRYING MOVING
THROUGH NORTHWEST CWA NOW.  ONLY FLY IN THE OINTMENT IS THREAT OF
SHOWERS MOVING INTO SOUTHWEST CWA THIS EVENING.  WILL MENTION
ISOLATED EVENING SHOWER THERE.  OTHERWISE...5H TROF PROGGED TO EXIT
THE FAR EASTERN CWA THIS EVENING.  SHOULD SEE SHRA END WITH PASSAGE
OF THIS WITH CLOUDS BREAKING THEREAFTER.  TEMPERATURES EXPECTED TO
DROP OFF TO MOS VALUES TONIGHT.

WARMING AHEAD OF NEXT SHORT WAVE TROUGH TO BRING SOME PATCHY CLOUDS
FAR WEST OVERNIGHT WITH SOUTHERLY WINDS ON THE INCREASE.  WILL
MENTION CHANCE POPS MAINLY MORNING WEST...THEN INTO EASTERN CWA FOR
THE AFTERNOON.  WITH IMPRESSIVE SHEAR AND INSTABILITY EXPECT THREAT
OF SEVERE ALONG FRONT WHEN CONVECTION DOES INITIATE..MAINLY INTO
WESTERN WI. RAIN THREAT SHOULD THEN END FOR WEDNESDAY WITH BREEZY
AND COOLER CONDITIONS EXPECTED.

EXTENDED...WILL MENTION SHOWERS EARLY IN PERIOD WITH FRONT IN THE
VICINITY AND THEN DRY PERIOD WITH WEAK RIDGING ALOFT.  WET AGAIN
EARLY NEXT WEEK WITH UPPER TROUGH MOVING THROUGH.
