INITIAL THETA-E ADVECTION WILL MOVE OUT OF THE CWA AROUND MIDNIGHT AS PRECIPITATION BECOMES SHOWERY. WARM FRONT IS HAVING A DIFFICULT TIME MOVING NORTH AND MAY NOT MAKE IT PAST DTW OVERNIGHT. IMPRESSIVE BAROCLINIC ZONE ACROSS INDIANA...JUST IN IWX CWA ALONE WE HAVE A 20 DEGREE SPREAD IN TEMPS FROM NORTH TO SOUTH WE PLAN ON DROPPING ALL HEADLINES WITH THIS UPDATE AFTER 10 PM. NOW THE QUESTION IS WHAT WILL HAPPEN WITH THE ONGOING CONVECTION ACROSS INDIANA. LATEST RUC MODEL SHOWS IMPRESSIVE DEEP THETA-E RIDGING COMING NORTH BETWEEN 06-09Z. THIS IS ACCOMPANIED BY INCREASING NEGATIVE EPV/S, -2 TO -5 SHOWALTER INDICIES, NOSE OF 300MB JET ENTERING INTO SOUTHWEST AND ASSOCIATED DIVERGENCE. QPF AMOUNTS ON THE RUC ARE WAY OUT TO LUNCH (PERHAPS EVEN DINNER) BUT IT DOES SHOW THE POTENTIAL CONVECTION FOR THE SOUTHERN CWA OVERNIGHT.
