Water covered Highways 68E, 627, and 1678 in the eastern part of the county.
Up to 8 inches of rain fell over Harrison County over about a 3 and a half hour period. Water covered Highway 36 in northwest Harrison County. Eight homes were damaged by flood waters near Gray's Run and Lee's Lick. Flooding was reported in Leesburg at 1000 EST. A few roads were closed around Leesburg at 1030 EST.
Up to 8 inches of rain fell over Scott County in about a three and a half hour period. Highway 32 in and around Sadieville was flooded at 0900 EST. Oxford had flooding around 1000 EST. Most roads in Eastern Scott County were flooded around 1030 EST. At least five homes in the county were flooded. Five people were evacuated from homes and several more were evacuated from vehicles.
Many viaducts in Louisville were flooded, trapping vehicles. The basement of the Louisville Library was flooded.
30 to 40 homes were damaged by flood waters, one home had 4 feet of water. People were trapped in vehicles by rising water.
