WILL LEAN TOWARD A COMPROMISE OF ALL MODEL SOLUTIONS BEYOND 24 HOURS AND WILL USE THIS AFTERNOON/S TEMPS AS A BASELINE FOR TEMPS FOR THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. LATEST SATELLITE SHOWS AN UPPER WAVE MOVING SLOWLY NORTHEAST INTO SOUTHWEST/SOUTHCENTRAL KS. THE REGIONAL PROFILER NETWORK SHOWS THE CENTER OF THE RIDGE AT 500MB ACROSS SOUTHEAST OK WITH 10-20KT OF WEST TO SOUTHWEST FLOW IN THE 700-500MB LAYER. FOR TONIGHT...CURRENT FCST HAS SLIGHT CHCS FOR STORMS ACROSS CENTRAL KS AND WILL LEAVE THIS AS IS. BETTER CHCS FOR ORGANIZED STORMS SHOULD REMAIN NORTH OF THE AREA CLOSER TO THE UPPER JET AND ASSOCIATED ADVECTIONS. FIRST THOUGHT IS TO KEEP THE REMAINDER OF THE AREA DRY OVERNIGHT DESPITE THE PRESENCE OF THE UPPER WAVE. WILL ALSO KEEP THE HEAT ADVISORY GOING THROUGH WEDS FOR NOW. UNSURE ABOUT THE MAGNITUDE OF DRYING/LOWER OF DEWPOINTS THAT MAY OCCUR BY THURSDAY THUS THE WEDS WORDING FOR NOW...AT ANY RATE DAYTIME TEMPS AROUND OR IN EXCESS OF 100 WILL PERSIST.
