SUMMARY...THICK HIGH CLOUDS OBSCURE THE VIEW OF LOW CLOUDS STATEWIDE
THIS EVENING...BUT RADAR SHOWS ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS STILL AFFECT
AREAS OF KAUAI.  SHOWERS...SOME HEAVY...CONTINUE TO AFFECT WINDWARD
AND SOUTHEAST-FACING AREAS OF MUCH OF THE STATE.  EXPECT THE SAME
OVERALL PATTERN TO LAST THROUGH TONIGHT AND TOMORROW.

DISCUSSION...HIGH CLOUDS COMING UP FROM THE SOUTH WILL BLANKET THE
ISLANDS THROUGH TOMORROW. A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM NORTH OF KAUAI WILL
CONTINUE TO DRAW HEAVY SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS UP OVER THE STATE
AT LEAST THROUGH FRIDAY. CONVECTIVE ACTIVITY HAS DECREASED SOMEWHAT
OVER THE ISLANDS THIS EVENING...BUT THE ATMOSPHERE WILL REMAIN MOIST
AND UNSTABLE THROUGH FRIDAY OVER THE ENTIRE STATE AND PERHAPS JUST
OVER KAUAI AND OAHU SATURDAY. DRYER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED AFTER
