ISOLATED DEEP CONVECTION CONTINUES TO POP UP AROUND SAMOA DUE TO THE INFLUENCE OF A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM CENTERED NEAR FIJI. A CONVERGENT ZONE OR TROUGH ALSO EXTENDS TOWARD THE SAMOAN VICNITY FROM THE EAST. A BAND OF LOW CLOUDS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS TROUGH WAS PUSHING INTO THE SAMOAN VICINITY FROM THE EAST-SOUTHEAST.
