Swell generated by Tropical Storm Utor were refracted by the small peninsula on the southwest side of Rota. These swells crashed into the East Harbor docks in Songsong resulting in damage to them.
Deaths and injuries are direct and indirect together, as the offices filed them. Damage is property and crops in the dollars of the year, not adjusted for inflation, and only where an office estimated it.

TRADE WIND CONVERGENCE IS GENERATING SCATTERED SHOWERS THROUGHOUT THE NORTHERN PORTION OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE MARSHALL ISLANDS BETWEEN 11N AND 19N FROM 162E TO THE DATELINE. SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS HAVE MOVED OVER THE SOUTHERN MARSHALL ISLANDS AND ARE BETWEEN THE EQUATOR AND 9N AND FROM 170E TO 180.
