The public reported two trees down on South Atlanta Road in Smyrna, north of Interstate 285. The fallen trees damaged two cars which subsequently resulted in an automobile accident.

The Jasper county Emergency Management Director reported that numerous trees were blown down throughout the county. In one instance, a tree fell on a home and another fell on a car. Most of the damage occurred in the cities of Eudora, Farrar, Shady Dale, and Monticello. Power was reported to be out to about 1000 people in this largely rural county.
