The Meriwether county sheriff reported that two trees were blown down on a road.
The Upson County ARC reported that 2 boy scouts were struck by lightning while at the Thunder Scout Reservation in the extreme northwest part of the county northwest of Hendricks near the Flint River. The victims were transported to the Upson Regional Medical Center Emergency Room, treated, and released. The injuries were not serious.
