The Oconee Emergency Management Director and the Georgia State Climatologist both reported that numerous trees and power lines were down in Watkinsville, including on the U.S. Highway 441 bypass west of town. Several of the trees were quite large and one large tree went through the roof of a house in town.
The public reported that a large oak tree was blown down on U.S. Highway 278.
The public reported that near the southern end of Lake Oconee, several tree limbs, both large and small, were broken off. In addition, a swing was blown off its frame.

The Avera Post Office estimated wind gusts at 65 mph.
