A WEAK TROUGH WILL CONTINUE OVER THE NORTHERN PART OF THE STATE WHICH WILL ENHANCE RAIN CHANCES OVER THE NEXT COUPLE DAYS. A DEEP TROUGH WILL DIG SOUTH INTO THE SOUTH CENTRAL STATES BY THE WEEKEND. THIS WILL HELP KEEP HEIGHTS AND SURFACE PRESSURES A LITTLE LOWER. I WILL RUN HIGHER THAN SEASONAL NORMALS THROUGH THE WEEKEND. THE BIG QUESTION IS WITH THE STEERING FLOW WHICH WILL REMAIN VERY WEAK. HEAVY RAIN WILL BE A PROBLEM AS WILL TIMING AS THE RIDGE WILL MEANDER OVER THE STATE. I HAVE A LITTLE TROUBLE BELIEVING THE MRF. THERE ARE BIG DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE MRF...UKMET AND ECMWF. IN FACT THERE ARE SUBSTANTIAL DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE MRF AND AVN. I WILL BROADBRUSH THE FORECAST AND KEEP NEAR NORMAL POPS IN THE EXTENDED IN SPITE OF THE FACT THAT THE MRF WANTS TO SPIN UP ERIN...AND ALLOWED IT TO PULL DRY AIR SOUTHWARD OVER THE STATE.
