HOT TEMPERATURES CONTINUE ACROSS CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN ARKANSAS. HEAT
INDICES ARE WIDESPREAD IN THE 105 TO 110 DEGREE RANGE. GOING WITH
THE ETA SOLUTION TODAY AS IT IS DRIER THAN AVN AND SIMILAR TO NGM.
WILL ISSUE HEAT ADVISORY FOR CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN SECTIONS AS THE
HEAT SHOULD CONTINUE AT LEAST ONE MORE DAY.
HIGH PRESSURE WILL SLOWLY MOVE WEST BUT WILL ALSO INTENSIFY. THIS
WILL KEEP RAIN CHANCES FOCUSED MAINLY IN THE EASTERN SECTIONS OF THE
CWFA. MOISTURE INCREASES TONIGHT...AND WITH A FEW THUNDERSHOWERS IN
OUR SOUTHERN ZONES...WILL ONLY LEAVE A SLIGHT CHANCE OF
THUNDERSHOWERS IN THE SOUTH. MOISTURE INCREASES EVEN MORE SO ON
THURSDAY AND THURSDAY NIGHT. BEST CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE
THURSDAY NIGHT AND INTO FRIDAY MORNING.
A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH THE STATE ON FRIDAY. WITH SLIGHTLY
COOLER/DRIER AIR BEHIND THE FRONT NO RAIN WILL BE MENTIONED IN MOST
AREAS THIS WEEKEND THROUGH THE FIRST PART OF NEXT WEEK.
TEMPERATURES WILL BE CLOSE TO NGM MOS.
