Arctic front overrunning snow moved into the Anchorage Municipality zone early Wednesday, lasting less than 8 hours. Anomalous snowfall was reported at the Anchorage Forecast Office, where accumulations reached 8". Amounts elsewhere, from the entire Hillside and Eagle River reported accumulations 2-4" during the same less than 8 hour period. Airport observations recorded heavy snow from 0400-0500 AST.
