Westerly winds, on the back side of a low along the Yukon Delta, peaked at 73 mph at Adak around 11 am Thursday, and 62 mph at Shemya numerous times between 9:30 am and 3 pm Thursday.Atka peaked at 71 mph at 10:30 am Thursday. Gusts of 60 mph were recorded around Dutch Harbor between 3 and 4:30 pm Thursday. Winds in the Pribilofs peaked at 68 mph at Saint Paul at 3:30 am Friday and 70 mph at midnight Friday at Saint George.
