A slow moving winter weather system dropped move than 5 inches of new snow over parts of northern Wisconsin during the day on November 13th. Snowfall of 5.8 inches was recorded at a cooperative observer site 6 miles southwest of Laona (Forest co.). Reports from voluntary snowfall observers included 6.0 inches of new snow 2 miles north of Sayner (Vilas co.) and at Tipler (Florence co.) and 7.2 inches at Popple River (Forest co.).
