A thunderstorm that produced large hail, winds in excess of 55 MPH, and heavy downpours moved across Hardy County during the afternoon of the 13th. South of Moorefield, dime sized hail fell and a few large trees were downed. A few homeowners reported minor roof damaged from felled trees. Heavy downpours produced minor flooding along Route 220 and flooded basements in homes.
