Ice Storm in West Virginia, February 17 to 18, 2000
Freezing rain developed late in the evening of the 17th and continued until shortly after daybreak on the 18th. Ice accretion of 1/4 of an inch occured on trees and power lines, with isolated 1/2 inch amounts in the higher elevations of western Greenbrier County.
