A unseasonably cold storm system brought heavy wet snow to elevations above 4000 feet in the Blue Mountains of Southeastern Washington. Several power poles were brought down by the snow's weight on Lewis Peak, which is located 15 miles east of Walla Walla at an elevation of 5000 feet.
