A line of showers and thunderstorms produced winds in excess of 55 MPH as it passed through western Virginia between 11 PM on the 9th and 2 AM on the 10th. In Augusta County, high winds downed trees and limbs onto roads in Churchville. In Nelson County, scattered trees were downed in Lovingston. In Albemarle County, trees were downed in Charlottesville and in a few locations in the countryside. In Frederick County, a tree was downed onto one home in Winchester and another home 10 miles west of the city. In Clarke County, two trees were downed in Berryville.
