Lightning struck a house in the 100 block of Forest Glen Road in Centerville and set the roof on fire. The fire then spread quickly to the rest of the house. Another house was struck by lightning on Wickre Street in the southeast end of James City County and caused major damage. Both residences were considered unihabitable.
